An official said, there were 6 passengers and 2 crew members in the aircraft. Selangor police chief Hussein Omar Khan said the plane was preparing to land and had been cleared by air traffic control. He said the jet lost contact with the control tower two minutes before landing.
He told that the fire and rescue department was able to control the fire in 10 minutes. Police said they are still investigating the accident and post mortems are being conducted to confirm the identities of the victims.
