Kolkata: Charu Asopa made it public that she went to her estranged husband Rajeev Sen’s father’s family’s wedding because he had assured her that Ziana would make him happy if she attended. She added that their divorce was actually proceeding and that it would be finalised by June.
Charu and Rajeev were recently seen at a relative’s wedding in Kolkata, and Sushmita Sen was among the notable attendees.
During the celebration, they were also spotted dancing to “Pehla Pehla Pyar” (Hum Aapke Hain Koun). In a video that Charu posted to her YouTube page, she can be seen dancing happily with Rajeev. Since then, as they have continued to argue and reconcile, many online users have worried about their marriage and reported separation.
But I know what I have to do. “Baba (Rajeev’s father) ne itne pyaar se bola ki achha lagega agar Ziana bhi aayegi toh (he said with such love that he’d feel good if Ziana would participate in the wedding) that I had to fulfil his wish and attend the wedding.”
Charu cleared the air by saying that she did the stage performance at the groom’s mom’s request, who wished her to dance with Rajeev. “My father-in-law is a gem of a person. I will always be in touch with him. “Woh Ziana aur meri family toh hamesha hi rahegi,” Charu said.
Last year, both issued statements against each other; both of them accused the other of cheating. After that, Charu and Rajeev decided to separate. But they reunited once again, couldn’t continue their relationship, and later announced they had separated once again.
