One of the most famous automobile companies Maruti Suzuki which is known to be one of the oldest car-making companies in the country is all set to launch its all new car ‘Maruti Suzuki Ertiga’ 1.5L diesel variant in India and its expected launch year is 2019.
Another highlighting aspect of the new
Ertiga is its styling as the largest automaker in the country completely
overhauled the exterior to make it more modern ditching the primitive looks. As
for the performance, the 1.4-litre petrol engine gave way for a brand new
1.5-litre SHVS four-cylinder gasoline unit with a dual-battery setup that
debuted in the facelifted Ciaz. The more powerful engine is good enough to
develop 104.7 PS and 138 Nm and is connected to the familiar five-speed manual
and four-speed torque converter automatic transmission option. The
long-existing 1.3-litre diesel will be soon replaced by an all-new 1.5-litre
DDiS 225 due to the oncoming stringent emission standards.
The powertrain has found its way into the
Ciaz already and it will more likely pump out similar power and torque outputs
in the Ertiga. It generates 95 PS and 225 Nm and is mated to a new six-speed
manual transmission. Due to the presence of dual mass flywheel, the engine will
be responsible for delivering lowered NVH levels.
