Chhath Puja, a significant festival dedicated to the Sun God, is celebrated with immense fervor and enthusiasm every year. The holy festivities commence on the fourth day (Chaturthi) of the Shukla Paksha in the Kartik month with Nahay Khay on November 17 and culminate on the seventh day (Saptami) of the month with Usha Arghya on November 20.

Chhath Puja, a festival revered for its auspiciousness, is believed to bestow numerous blessings upon devoted observers. Worshiping Surya Bhagwaan, the Sun God, and Chhathi Maiyya, the goddess of power and protection, is thought to usher in positive transformations in the lives of devotees.

Married women hailing from Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh partake in the four-day-long celebration of Chhath Puja. Commencing with a fast on the initial day, they conclude it on the fourth day after offering prayers to the rising Sun.

Dedicated to Chhathi Maiya and the Sun God, this festival sees women engaging in Chhath Puja festivities to seek blessings for the well-being of their family, home, wealth, and health. With Chhath Puja scheduled for November 17 this year, followers are preparing for the festival by exploring the Chhath Puja vidhi.
