China just not understanding Indian sentiments

Beijing: If the foreign ministry of China is to be believed, India has been building up troops in its border amid an increasingly tense battle in a remote frontier region beside the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan.

The stand-off pretty much next to the mountainous Indian state of Sikkim, which borders China, has created quite a bit of tension between the neighbours, who share a 3,500-km (2,175-mile) frontier, majority of them being disputed.

India on his part has said it warned China that the road construction near their common border would have serious security implications.

According to China foreign ministry, despite China’s plenty of diplomatic representations, India has not only not withdrawn its troops but has also been making “unreasonable demands”.

In July, China’s defense ministry warned India not to harbor any illusions regarding the Chinese military’s ability to defend its territory.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit China early in September for a summit of BRICS leaders.
