Citroen launched its new Citroen C3 in India. Check price and other details

New Delhi: Citroen launched its new Citroen C3 in India today. The pre-booking for this has already started from July 1. The new Citroen C3 will compete with the likes of Nissan Magnite and Tata Punch.The beginning price in ex-showroom of the new Citroen C3 is Rs 5.70 lakh.

The new Citroen C3 will be available in two variant- Live and Feel.

All new Citroen C3 will available with 10 exterior colour combinations, 3 packs with 56 customisation options. Inside, the Citroen C3 gets a large touchscreen infotainment screen, digital instrument cluster among others. It will be offered with two engine options: 1.2L PURETECH 110 & 1.2L PURETECH 82, both petrol. There’s only manual gearbox for now.

As far as the interiors are concerned, the Citroen C3 comes with a well-crafted cabin with two interior trim options – Anodized Gray and Zesty Orange, with the latter offering a two-tone color treatment. The vibrant panel on the dashboard matches the exterior shade of the car, while the air-con vents with glossy black bezels remain the same as the C5 Aircross. Customers will also get the option of a cover that seats up to eight, and there is a place to attach a smartphone clamp. The C3 also comes with a 2540 mm wheelbase and 315-litre boot space.

The Citroen C3 is built on the company’s C-cubed platform, which will introduce many new models made in India. In terms of looks, the car gets every bit Citroen, from sleek chrome elements to the chevron (brand logo) with dual-tone treatment along with contrast inserts, and heavy cladding. Really, the car looks like a baby C5 and that’s not a bad thing. Citroen will offer the car in 10 exterior color combinations, including dual-tone options and several customization options. Other features will include sporty alloy wheels and roof rails among others. The new Citroën C3 is now available for retail at La Maison Citroën phygital showrooms in 19 cities, namely, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Chennai, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Surat, Nagpur, Vizag, Calicut, and Coimbatore.

For Safety features provided dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, speed sensing auto door lock, rear parking sensors, and a high-speed alert system.The C3 gets a stick-out infotainment display with a 10-inch capacitive touchscreen unit. It offers the Mirror Screen function to reproduce the performance of driver’s smartphone apps such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The car also gets a flat-bottom multi-functional steering wheel along with other features like USB charger and 12V socket.

As for fuel efficiency figures claimed on the naturally aspirated engine and the turbocharged one are 19.8 kpl and 19.4 kpl, respectively.The Citroen C3 is being offered with a choice of two 1.2-litre PureTech petrol engines. The first is a naturally aspirated motor tuned to belt out around 81 bhp, while mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Then there’s the 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 108 Bhp and 190 Nm of peak torque when mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. The turbo petrol version can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 10 seconds.
