Section 144 has been imposed in the area. Police has reached the spot. However, no arrest has been made so far. According to the police, additional police force has been called in the area. More than 100 personnel have been deployed to control the situation. Police of many police station areas including Tarhasi, Pipratand, Lesliganj have reached the spot. Many senior officers including the SP are also trying to control the situation after reaching the spot.
Local people told that petrol-bombs have also been used on the spot. According to the villagers, this dispute happened on Tuesday regarding the construction of Torana Gate near Panki Chowk. The controversy escalated on Wednesday.
The injured people have been admitted to the local hospital for treatment. At the same time, police personnel are also being treated, the area where this incident took place is about 45 kilometers away from Palamu divisional headquarters Medninagar. Police has started patrolling in the entire area.
