Gujarat: A strange news is coming out from Gujarat. The marksheet of a primary school in Dahod district of Gujarat has raised questions on the education system. There has been such a discrepancy in the marksheet of a fourth class student, which has surprised everyone. The student has got more marks than the total marks in 2 subjects. When there was a dispute on receiving the marksheet, orders were given to investigate the matter.
This case pertains to Kharsana village of Jhalod tehsil of Dahod district of Gujarat. Vanshiben Manishbhai, a student studying in the fourth class of a primary school here, was given more than the maximum marks in two subjects. The matter came to light when the girl reached home with the report card. The student’s family contacted the school and drew attention to the teacher’s mistake. After this the girl’s result was corrected and re-written.

This student named Vanshiben Manishbhai has got 211 marks in one and 212 marks in the other out of two subjects examination of 200 marks each. According to this, Vanshiben got 956 marks out of total 1000 marks. But after the complaint of the family members, the marks in the marksheet were corrected and it was remade. But by then the wrong mark sheet had gone viral on social media.
Vanshiben Manishbhai is very smart in studies. This can be easily guessed by looking at the new marksheet. In the revised marksheet of the student, she got 191 marks out of 200 in Gujarati and 190 marks out of 200 in Mathematics. Then the total marks out of 1000 were 934. It is being told that Vanshiben was very happy after seeing her result. But then when he suspected something wrong, he informed his family about it. District education officials have started investigating this matter.
Teacher made the result by copy-pasting
The surprising matter did not end here. The Education Department gave an official statement on this mistake of the school. In this he said, the matter was brought to the notice of the principal after the result went viral on social media. Initial investigation has revealed that this result was prepared by an assistant teacher. He had made a result for the first time. The teacher has admitted to making a mistake in copy-pasting. After the investigation is over, the report will be submitted at a higher level.
