CM Kejriwal said at a function organized here to provide financial assistance to the players, “In Delhi Sports University, players will be awarded degrees in their respective sports like BA in Kabaddi, BA in Wrestling and BA in Cricket etc. This will help them work.”

He said, “Under ‘Mission Excellence’, financial assistance is being given to the players. We have improved the sports facilities and there is no political interference in the selection of players for the schemes. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 9.5 crore was given to 60 players on Friday.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the governments do not help until the player comes with the first medal. After winning the medal, everyone comes to help. Many players are talented, but they come from poor families. Mission Excellence has been started for such players so that the players do not lack money in training. The CM of Delhi said that the players who were given financial help by the Delhi government in the “Mission Excellence Scheme” brought medals for India from the Olympics. In this scheme, today more checks were handed over to 60 players. I hope this will help him in his training and diet, he will go ahead and get more medals for the country.
