CM Yogi Adityanath says, ‘Historic day…’ as PM Modi inaugurates 296-km long Bundelkhand expressway in UP

Lucknow: On Saturday, PM Modi inaugurated Bundelkhand Expressway in Uttar Pradesh. CM Yogi Adityanath, who was present there on this occasion, while addressing the public said that today a historic occasion has come when the expressway is going to be inaugurated. With the launch of this expressway, the pace of development of seven districts of this region will get a new flight. Along with this, keeping in mind the expressway in Bundelkhand, two nodes of the Defense Corridor have been given in Chitrakoot and Jhansi. This will give huge employment opportunities to the people here.

During the occasion, CM Yogi Adityanath said that the wait for Bundelkhand Expressway was being felt for a long time. After its construction, now the distance between Delhi and Chitrakoot will be reduced. This journey will be completed within only 6 hours. The economy of the districts Mahoba, Chitrakoot, Jalaun, Auraiya and Etawah situated on the banks of this expressway will be further strengthened.

PM Modi said on the occasion that leaving the old thinking, we are moving forward with a new thinking. After 2017 better work has started for connectivity. Along with the big cities, attention is also being paid to the connectivity of small towns.

PM Modi futher said that every corner of UP is ready to run at a fast pace with new dreams and resolutions. This is the concept of Sabka Saath and Sabka Vikas. No one is left behind, the double engine government is continuously working in this direction. The PM said that even small districts of UP are connected with air service, for this fast work is going on. With such efforts, business also gets a new dimension.

PM Modi told CM Yogi that people come from outside to see the historical fort of UP. Along with this, he asked CM Yogi to organize a competition in winter. Invite the youth to it and hold a competition to climb the fort. Not through the easy way, but through the hard way. Youth will come from outside, stay at night, this will increase employment opportunities here.

Two aspects to development – intention and limit

PM Modi said that the stream of development on which the country is running has two aspects at its core. One is intention, the other is limits. We are not creating new facilities for the present of the country, but we are building the future of the country. We are engaged in 21st century infrastructure. Our service for development is such that we do not allow the time limit to be broken.
