During a public hearing session at the Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath pledged to provide permanent housing for all eligible citizens by enrolling them in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). He addressed concerns raised by approximately 200 attendees, instructing officials to ensure comprehensive medical facilities, including Ayushman cards, for the people. For those with severe illnesses lacking Ayushman cards, funds would be sourced from the CM Discretionary Fund.
In a compassionate gesture, CM Yogi personally engaged with attendees, patiently listening to their grievances. He assured them that their issues would be resolved transparently and promptly. Notably, he emphasized a sensitive approach in handling cases, particularly a woman’s plight regarding her family’s housing predicament. Immediately, he directed officials to prioritize her situation, ensuring her inclusion in either the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or the Chief Minister Awas Yojana.
Addressing concerns about land-grabbing, CM Yogi stressed the importance of rigorous legal action in such cases. He further instructed officials to address revenue and police-related matters efficiently, emphasizing the paramount importance of public welfare.
Moreover, CM Yogi assured individuals seeking financial aid for medical treatment that resources would not hinder their care. He urged officials to expedite the estimation process, enabling the government to provide comprehensive financial assistance promptly.
