During the recent ‘Janata Darshan’ event in Gorakhpur, where the concerns of around 300 citizens were addressed, CM Yogi underscored the need for efficient and quality healthcare facilities for every resident.

CM Yogi directed officials to prioritize the speedy issuance of Ayushman Health Cards to all eligible individuals. The focus is on streamlining the process to ensure that citizens have timely access to essential healthcare benefits.
Commitment to Quality Medical Facilities
Emphasizing the provision of high-quality medical facilities, the Chief Minister assured that every eligible person would receive the Ayushman health cards. Full assistance for treatment from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund was pledged, highlighting the government’s commitment to healthcare accessibility.
Assessment of Treatment Costs
CM Yogi instructed officials to assess the treatment costs for individuals without Ayushman cards. The estimates will be submitted to the government, enabling arrangements for their treatment in major hospitals and ensuring that financial considerations do not impede access to healthcare.
Swift Response to Urgent Medical Needs
In response to a case involving a seriously ill child without an Ayushman card, the Chief Minister directed officials to promptly admit the patient to either SGPGI or KGMU in Lucknow. A cost estimate for expenses was also mandated, showcasing a rapid and responsive approach to urgent medical needs.
District-Level Issue Resolution
Addressing complaints related to the police and revenue departments, CM Yogi stressed the importance of district-level officers promptly resolving issues to prevent unnecessary problems for the public.
