CM Yogi Targets Sam Pitroda’s Statement


Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has strongly criticized Sam Pitroda’s recent statement, labeling it as condemnable. He emphasized that the Congress owes an apology to the nation for Pitroda’s remarks.

Yogi Adityanath targeted the Congress, highlighting Pitroda’s statement as an example of the party’s divisive politics. He pointed out that the Congress, since 1947, has been responsible for dividing the country along lines of caste, religion, and language. Adityanath stressed the need for the Congress to apologize to the citizens of India for such divisive rhetoric.

Following the backlash over Sam Pitroda’s statement, the Congress distanced itself from his remarks, leading to Pitroda resigning from his position as President of Indian Overseas Congress.

In a viral video, Pitroda compared people from various regions of India to foreigners, labeling those from the East as Chinese, those from the South as African, and those from the West as Arab-looking. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep dissatisfaction with Pitroda’s comments.
