New Delhi: CBI Court in the murder case of Dr. Vinod Kumar Arya and Dr. BP Singh, two CMOs of the Family Welfare Department in Mayawati Government. Special Judge Anurodh Mishra has convicted the main shooter Anand Prakash Tiwari. At the same time, the second shooter Vinod Sharma and conspirator Ramakrishna Verma have been acquitted by giving the benefit of doubt. The court will sentence Anand Prakash Tiwari on July 2.
Let us tell you that during the BSP government, in October 2010, CMO, Family Welfare Dr. Vinod Arya, living in Vikas Nagar area, was shot dead by unknown miscreants. Six months later, on April 2, 2011, Family Welfare CMO BP Singh was also murdered by unknown shooters in Gomtinagar. The government was shocked by the murder of two CMOs and the investigation of the case was handed over to the STF. STF arrested many accused in this case, but under pressure from the opposition, the case had to be handed over to CBI.
After a long investigation, CBI had arrested Anand Prakash Tiwari, Vinod Sharma and conspirator RK Verma who murdered both the CMOs. Investigation had revealed that Deputy CMO YS Sachan had got both the CMOs murdered. YS Sachan was arrested in this case, whose body was found under suspicious circumstances in the toilet of Lucknow jail on 22 June 2011.
After arresting Anand Prakash Tiwari, CBI had revealed the entire matter after forensic examination of both the pistols recovered from him and the kiosks found from the spot. After a long hearing in the CBI Court, the court has declared the main shooter Anand Prakash Tiwari guilty. Let us tell you that in this case, CBI had also arrested former CMO of Lucknow Dr. AK Shukla (Former CMO of Lucknow Dr. AK Shukla).
