Jaipur: One of the coaching centres in Jaipur, named Adhigam coaching center, was demolished by the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) on Monday. The institute was run by the main accused, Bhupi Saran, and Suresh Dhaka, who were responsible for the Rajasthan paper leak case.
Both accused were absconding. The Udaipur Police announced a bounty of Rs 25,000 on Suresh. The question paper for the 2nd-grade teacher examination was leaked on December 23. Overall, 57 people have been arrested in connection with the case and were sent to judicial custody, said SP Vikas Sharma.
The vice principal of a government school in Jalore had bought the question paper from the two culprits, and before the start of the 2nd-grade teacher competitive examination in 2022, he took the mobile numbers from candidates and shared the question paper with them.
The mastermind behind the leak, Suresh Vishnoi, was arrested, a printer was also recovered from the spot.
At least 37 candidates had gotten the questions in advance, seven officials who were on duty were caught with other gadgets. All the guilty parties have been apprehended.
As per the initial probe, the mastermind had taken Rs 10 lakh for leaking the question paper. More culprits will be nabbed soon, the SP said.
Gulab Chand Kataria, the leader of the opposition in the Rajasthan Assembly, said it is a shameful affair for the state government.
Due to a leak of the General Knowledge question paper, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) postponed the 2nd grade teacher competitive examination 2022. The examination is scheduled to be held again on January 29.
