Coca-Cola India has announced its entry into the ready-to-drink tea beverages market with the introduction of ‘Honest Tea.’ This new offering is part of Coca-Cola’s strategy to diversify its product portfolio and cater to evolving consumer preferences.
‘Honest Tea’ is a brand owned by Honest, a subsidiary of the Coca-Cola Company. The organic green tea used in this product will be sourced from Luxmi Tea Co Private Ltd’s Makaibari Tea Estate in Kolkata, as per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed during the seventh edition of the Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS).
The decision to source organic green tea aligns with the growing consumer demand for healthier and natural beverage options. Makaibari Tea Estate is known for its commitment to organic and sustainable practices, adding an eco-friendly dimension to Coca-Cola’s new offering.
