Commodity Market Trading Schedule for Eid-ul-Fitr and Ram Navami Holidays, Check details

The stock markets are set to remain closed on April 11 for Eid-ul-Fitr and April 17 for Ram Navami. However, traders can expect the commodity market to operate during evening hours as per regularity.

Commodity Market Operating Hours

During Eid-ul-Fitr and Ram Navami, the commodity market will conduct evening trading sessions from 5:00 pm to 11:30 pm, including both the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

Forex and Money Markets Closure

While Forex and money markets were closed on Tuesday due to the ‘Gudhipadwa’ festival, stock markets remained open. However, for Eid-ul-Fitr and Ram Navami, both Forex and money markets are expected to observe closures.

Trading Resumption

Normal trading operations on the NSE and BSE will resume on Friday, April 12, beginning at 9:15 am, following a fifteen-minute pre-opening session starting at 9:00 am.

MCX Operations

The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will remain closed in the morning on Eid-ul-Fitr, resuming its operations for the evening session. MCX trading typically runs from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with an evening session from 5:00 pm to 11:30/11:55 pm.

Traders and investors are advised to plan their activities accordingly, considering the holiday schedule and trading timings during these festive occasions.
