Cong interim Sonia Gandhi discharged from hospital, ED to inquire in money laundering case

New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi was discharged from the hospital on Monday evening. However, doctors have advised him to take rest at home. Party General Secretary Jairam Ramesh gave this information by tweeting. 75-year-old Sonia Gandhi was hospitalized since June 12 due to health complications after corona infection (C). Let us tell you that the ED has asked Sonia Gandhi to appear in the money laundering case on June 23.

Jairam Ramesh said, “The Congress President has been discharged from the hospital today and he has been advised to take rest at home.” There is a ‘fungal infection’, which was treated. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued fresh summons to Sonia Gandhi to appear for questioning on June 23 in an alleged money laundering case related to the National Herald.

Sonia Gandhi was earlier asked to appear on June 8, but due to her being infected with Corona, she had asked for a new date to appear before the investigating agency. The investigating agency is already questioning Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi questioned
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday again questioned former Congress President Rahul Gandhi after three consecutive days of questioning last week in an alleged money laundering case related to the National Herald newspaper. Rahul Gandhi reached the ED headquarters at around 11.05 am with the security of ‘Z plus’ category of CRPF personnel. Rahul Gandhi came out of the ED office for lunch at around 3.30 pm and reached there again after about an hour. It is to be known that before today, Rahul Gandhi has been questioned for more than 30 hours.
