New Delhi: The BJP and the Congress protesting against the liquor scam are calling CM Kejriwal as the mastermind and demanding the CM’s resignation. After the arrest of Manish Sisodia in the alleged excise scam in Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party government seems to be under siege from all sides. Late Tuesday evening, Manish Sisodia has resigned from his post while in CBI custody, but Kejriwal’s difficulties do not seem to be easing.
Now, Delhi BJP workers protested from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg to ITO intersection, raised slogans against Kejriwal and demanded his resignation, calling him the mastermind of the alleged scam. At the same time, Congress has attacked Delhi CM Kejriwal while protesting against this alleged liquor scam. After the resignation, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has nominated AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj and Atishi to become ministers in the cabinet to Lt. Governor V.K. Sent to Saxena. Sources in the AAP government have said that after the resignation of Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain, AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj will become a minister in the Kejriwal government. Atishi will also get a place in the cabinet. Arvind Kejriwal has sent the file to LG to appoint both as ministers.
