Chhattisgarh: Even after in-camera discussions with Congress state in-charge PL Punia and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday, Health Minister TS Singh Deo continued to be upset, saying it was determined by the ‘result’ of the discussion whether or not he would. Will participate in the proceedings of the meeting on Wednesday.
Several leaders and workers of the Singh Deo camp continued to oppose MLA Brahspat Singh, who on Sunday accused Singh Deo of plotting a murderous attack on him in Surguja, with the party high command planning to issue a notice to the MLA shortly.
People angry with Singh had also demanded his expulsion from the party.
Earlier, there was a lot of drama in Chhattisgarh, when TS Singh Deo left the assembly, saying, “I don’t think it is appropriate to continue in the House until the state government comes up with a clear explanation on the matter (MLA). Blame) .”
Soon after, the BJP MLAs created a ruckus resulting in the assembly being adjourned.
Singh Deo was expecting a reply from Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu on MLA Brahspat Singh’s allegations, but Sahu did not pay heed to the incident, he calmed down and left in disgust.
Seeing the matters getting uncontrolled, Punia called an angry Singh Deo to the assembly. Punia then held a closed-door meeting with Chief Minister Baghel and several other cabinet ministers.
Minister Ravindra Choubey, appearing before the media, claimed that the MLA did not mention Singh Deo’s name anywhere in the FIR to the Home Minister nor to the CM and it seems to be a case of confusion. He said the Home Minister had made a general statement based on information and evidence.
Additionally,Choubey said,“The Health Minister mentioned that some things should be included. The Home Minister’s statement should have been considered conclusive. The only question is that Singh Dev ji left soon after making the comment and it is a misunderstanding and it will be resolved in the party,”.
Punia said it was a minor incident of brawl over overtaking the car and three people involved in the case have been arrested. “I have spoken to Singh Deo and the chief minister. We will find an answer,” Punia said.
Meanwhile, Singh Deo, who left the assembly on Tuesday after meeting with Punia and Baghel, said that they had discussed what they have and it all depends on the outcome of the discussion whether he will attend the assembly on Wednesday or not.
