Shimla: Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh will take place by the end of the year. All the leading political parties have started their campaign to woo the voters of the state.

Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee has announced that the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) will be restored on the first day if the party wins the election and forms a government in the state. This was stated by state party president Pratibha Singh, who said this in Shimla on Monday.

In a press conference, the state Congress president said the election manifesto of Congress will reveal everything. The Congress party is not going to make the election manifesto in the office; it is going to be prepared after talking with the general public. Therefore, a duty has been assigned to every leader and worker in the party to go to the field and talk to the general public regarding their issues.

Mukesh Agnihotri, the leader of the opposition, stated that the election manifesto will be prepared after consultation with the people of the state. The party’s manifesto will be the voice of the people. On the issue of chief ministerial face, he said this matter would be discussed after the results of the assembly polls.
