Bengaluru: A controversy took place in Karnataka when an absconding rowdy, Sunil Kumar, alias “Silent Sunil,” was spotted sharing a dais with several senior BJP leaders. He was present on the stage during a blood donation camp.
Many BJP leaders, including MP Tejasvi Surya, MP PC Mohan, and NR Ramesh, were seen on the dais with the fugitive rowdy in Ramnagara. There are more than 15 cases against the culprit, Sunil Kumar.
Sunil Kumar, the history sheeter, had been on the run since November 23, when police personnel went to his house and other locations regarding a case. Sunil is a notorious rowdy who has been involved in numerous criminal activities like murder, dacoity, and theft, as per the crime branch record.
He has been involved in crime for a long time. He was sent to the remand room while he was a minor. Bengaluru police urged the Karnataka Control of Organized Crime Act against him amid a case in 2017.
Sunil Kumar, alias “Silent Sunil,” was given the nickname “Silent” by police officers because he remained silent during interrogation or answered questions with only one word most of the time.
According to crime branch chief Sharanappa, “We searched locations connected with him on November 23.” “Whoever we found, we brought them back to the station and gave them a warning, and we also kept surveillance on whoever wasn’t there.”
Meanwhile, BJP MP PC Mohan, who was also sharing the stage with the absconder, claimed that he had no idea that the guilty party was also present in the programme, which is amazing.
