Corona: India sees 7,946 fresh cases and 9,828 recoveries in the last 24 hours, active cases cross 62,000

The number of new corona patients in the country is continuously fluctuating. In the last 24 hours, 7,946 new patients have been found, while active cases and daily infection rates have declined.

New Delhi: The number of new corona patients in the country is continuously fluctuating. In the last 24 hours, 7,946 new patients have been found, while active cases and daily infection rates have declined. After which the total number of infected people in the country has increased to 4,44,36,339. The number of active cases has become to 62,748. So far a total of 5,27,911 people have lost their lives due to coronavirus.

Talking about those recovering after defeating the corona virus infection, 9,828 patients were cured across the country in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of patients who have recovered after defeating the epidemic has gone up to more than 4,38,35,852. The recovery rate of the country is 98.67 percent. The daily positivity rate stood at 2.98 per cent and the weekly positivity rate at 2.57 per cent, according to the ministry.

Talking about the vaccination campaign, total 212.52 crore so far of vaccine have been administered in the country. According to the Ministry of Health, 12,90,443 doses were administered in the last 24 hours. The vaccine is being administered to children and adults above 12 years of age in the country.

Talking about the corona test, According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), over 88,61,47,613 cr samples have been tested up to August 14 for COVID-19. 2,66,477 tested had done in the last 24 hours.
