Coronavirus: India sees 11,539 fresh cases in last 24 hours, active caseload at 99,879

In the last 24 hours 11,539 new cases of corona have been reported. After which the total number of infected people in the country has increased to 4,43,39,429. The number of active cases has become to 99,879.

New Delhi: In India, the period of ups and downs in the cases of ‘Corona infection’ continues. In the last 24 hours 11,539 new cases of corona have been reported. After which the total number of infected people in the country has increased to 4,43,39,429. The number of active cases has become to 99,879.

Talking about those recovering after defeating the corona virus infection, 12,783 patients were cured across the country in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of patients who have recovered after defeating the epidemic has gone up to 4,37,12,218. The recovery rate of the country is 98.59 percent. The daily positivity rate stood at 3.75 per cent and the weekly positivity rate at 3.88 per cent.

Talking about the vaccination campaign, total 209.67 crore so far of vaccine have been administered in the country. According to the Ministry of Health, 26,58,755 doses were administered in the last 24 hours. The vaccine is being administered to children and adults above 12 years of age in the country.

Talking about the corona test, According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 88.24 cr samples have been tested up to August 14 for COVID-19. Of these 3,07,680 samples were tested on Saturday.
