The death toll climbed to 5,28,510 with 23 fatalities which includes 11 deaths reconciled by Kerala, the data updated at 8 am stated.
Talking about those recovering after defeating the corona virus infection, 5,196 patients were cured across the country in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of patients who have recovered after defeating the epidemic has gone up to more than 4,39,95,610. The recovery rate of the country is 98.72 percent. The daily positivity rate stood at 1.58 per cent and the weekly positivity rate at 1.63 per cent, according to the ministry.
Talking about the vaccination campaign, total 217.41 crore so far of vaccine have been administered in the country. At the same time, 15,85,343 people have been given the dose of corona vaccine in the last 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health, Of these doses, 94.55 crore are second dose and 18.53 crore are precautionary shots.
