New Delhi: A total of 17,336 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country in the last 24 hours. This is a jump of 30.2 percent compared to yesterday. A total of 13,313 new cases were reported yesterday. With this, the total number of Covid infected in the country has now increased to 4 crore, 33 lakh, 62 thousand 294. A total of 13 people have also died due to Covid across the country in the last 24 hours. So far, a total of 5 lakh 24 thousand 954 people have died due to Covid in the country. The death rate from Covid has also increased to 1.21 percent now.

According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, the total number of active cases across the country has crossed 88 thousand. At present, there are 88,284 active patients across the country. Active cases have become 0.20 percent of the total infection.

At present, the recovery rate in the country has been recorded at 98.59 percent. A total of 13,029 patients have been cured across the country in the last 24 hours. So far, a total of 4 crore, 27 lakh, 49 thousand, 056 people have defeated this epidemic across the country.

The daily positivity rate in the country has now increased to 4.32 percent, while the weekly positivity rate has increased to 3.07 percent. So far, a total of 85.98 crore samples have been tested in the country. In the last 24 hours, 4,01,649 samples have been tested.

According to the ministry, under the National Immunization Campaign, a total of 196.77 crore vaccine doses have been given to people across the country so far.

The last 24 hours saw a total of 4,01,649 Covid-19 tests being conducted in the country.

Meanwhile, the five most affected states by total cases are Maharashtra (7950240), Kerala (6612607), Karnataka (3963633), Tamil Nadu (3464131), and Andhra Pradesh (2320682). The five states with most active cases are Kerala (25911), Maharashtra (24867), Delhi (5755), Tamil Nadu (5174), and Karnataka (5067).
