As the yatra moved through the Agar Malwa district on Sunday, the Gandhi scion could initially be seen waving at a crowd while praise for Prime Minister Narendra Modi drowned out the background noise. Rahul Gandhi was spotted throwing a flying kiss to those shouting the slogans after pushing his colleagues, the Bharat Yatris, to do the same.
On Monday morning, Rahul Gandhi started his Bharat Jodo Yatra in Rajasthan, a Congress-ruled state. The yatra began from Kali Talai in Jhalrapatan in Jhalawar,
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, PCC chief Govind Singh Dotasra, former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot, ministers, MLAs, and many other leaders and workers were marching with Rahul Gandhi’s caravan.
Security has been beefed up regarding the yatra.
The yatra reached Baliborda Chauraha at around 10 am after covering a distance of 14 km. After that, the yatra was halted for a while so that everyone could take lunch. After the lunch break, it is underway again from Nahardi at 3.30 pm.
The Congress MP has decided to hold a corner meeting at Chandrabhaga Chauraha in the evening. Rahul and his supporters will spend the night in Jhalawar.
