New Delhi: A rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) was fired at the Intelligence Headquarters of Punjab Police in Mohali late on Monday night, shattering window panes. However, no casualties have been reported. But CM is in action after a blast, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said on Tuesday that “whoever tried to spoil the atmosphere of our Punjab will not be spared”.
Punjab CM further added that probe is underway.

Meanwhile, replying to Mann’s tweet, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal said that the Punjab government will not allow those people’s wishes to be fulfilled who want to disturb the peace of Punjab.
Kejriwal also termed the Mohali blast a “cowardly act”.
“Peace will be maintained under all circumstances with the cooperation of all the people of Punjab and the culprits will be punished severely,” he said in a tweet.

Former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh expressed shock over the explosion and urged Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to take strict action against those who were behind this incident.
