Daughter Rohini Acharya to donate her kidney to father, Lalu Prasad Yadav likely to visit Singapore

Lalu Yadav: His daughter Rohini Acharya will donate kidney to Lalu Prasad Yadav, the former Chief Minister of Bihar. Lalu Yadav, 74, has been suffering from multiple health problems.

New Delhi: RJD supremo and former Chief Minister of Bihar Lalu Prasad Yadav is suffering from many diseases including kidney for the past several years. His daughter Rohini Acharya, who lives in Singapore, will donate kidney to him. According to reports, Lalu Yadav, who went to Singapore last month, was advised by doctors to undergo a kidney transplant, after which Rohini offered to donate kidney to her father.

It is also learned that RJD chief Lalu Yadav was not in favor of donating Rohini’s kidney at first, but later Lalu Yadav agreed after pressure from Rohini and other family members. Lalu Yadav is likely to visit Singapore again between November 20-24. During this, he is likely to undergo an operation for a kidney transplant.

Lalu’s second daughter Rohini who lives in Singapore. He is very worried about his father’s kidney ailments. Lalu Prasad Yadav had gone to Singapore on October 12 for a kidney transplant.

“Yes, that’s true. I’m destiny’s child and so proud to give my kidney to papa,” said Rohini Acharya, Lalu Yadav’s second daughter, who is based in Singapore.

Along with Lalu Prasad, his wife Rabri Devi and their elder daughter Misa Bharti also went to Singapore. Lalu was examined by the doctors two days after the RJD chief reached Singapore and advised him for a kidney transplant. Rohini was instrumental in getting Lalu Yadav to consult doctors in Singapore.

Rohini Acharya had, in a tweet last month, shared photos with her father. “This country needs your presence so that the country can fight tyrannical thinking,” she had written.

Lalu Yadav, currently in Delhi, is out on bail. He was jailed for over his role in fodder scam cases. He has been hospitalised several times in Delhi and Ranchi for treatment.
