Decomposed body of woman found stuffed in plastic bag in Mumbai, daughter detained

Mumbai: A sensational incident of murder has come to light in Lalbagh area of ​​Mumbai. A dead body of a 58-year-old woman has been recovered from a plastic bag from Peru Compound area of ​​Lalbagh. On the information of the incident, there was a stir in the police. The police have suspected the woman’s daughter of murder. Police are interrogating him continuously. The body has been sent for postmortem.

On the case, DCP Praveen Munde of Mumbai Police says that the missing report of the woman Bina Jain, who lives in Lalbagh area, was lodged by her brother and nephew. During the police search, Bina’s body was found in a plastic bag in the Lalbhaug area, a day after Bengaluru police recovered a woman’s decomposed body from a plastic trunk. The body is badly decomposed. Her post-mortem is being done.

Her 22-year-old daughter has been taken into police custody and is being interrogated. The reason for the murder has not been ascertained. The police is investigating the case. The cops have not revealed the name and other details of the deceased woman.

A senior police officer said, “The incident happened in the Lalbhaug area and the body was highly decomposed. Our team reached the spot as soon as we got the information. The body has been taken out and the investigation has already been started.” The officials will be recording statements of more people today in connection with the incident and the available CCTV visuals from the area will also be examined.
