Delhi: 20 newborns rescued after fire breaks out in west Delhi hospital

New Delhi: A fire broke out in the early hours of Friday in a hospital located in Janakpuri area of ​​West Delhi. After this incident, a rapid rescue operation was conducted in the hospital and 20 newborns were rescued. This hospital is in Vaishali Colony. As of now, all the children are safe and have been shifted to other hospitals.

New Delhi: A fire broke out in the early hours of Friday in a hospital located in Janakpuri area of ​​West Delhi. After this incident, a rapid rescue operation was conducted in the hospital and 20 newborns were rescued. This hospital is in Vaishali Colony. As of now, all the children are safe and have been shifted to other hospitals.

According to the fire department, they received information about the fire late Friday at 1.35 pm, after which 9 vehicles were sent to the spot. Some furniture kept in the basement of the hospital caught fire.

The fire was brought under control at 2.25 pm. 20 newborns have been sent to nearby hospitals. There is no information about any casualty.

Atul Garg, director of Delhi Fire Service, told that due to the narrowness of the street, there was a problem in extinguishing the fire. We reached there on time and the fire was doused.

After rescuing all the children were sent to different hospitals. No one got injured. They did not have fire NOC, the hospital was of only one floor. Further investigation will be done.
