Delhi: 27-year-old man stabbed to death by unidentified person, police probe underway

New Delhi: The police officer said that a 27-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by unidentified people in Trilokpuri area of Delhi. After receiving information about this incident local police reached on the spot.

New Delhi: The police officer said that a 27-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by unidentified people in Trilokpuri area of Delhi. After receiving information about this incident local police reached on the spot.

Official said that the victim was identified as Thanda Paani. He was a resident of Trilokpuri. According to the police, the victim was brought to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital with multiple injuries, where doctors declared him dead.

About this incident, Apoorva Gupta, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) East Delhi said, “We received information from Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital that a man was brought there with multiple stab injuries. Doctors declared him brought dead.”

The DCP added,”We are verifying the facts and gathering more information. Two more people were admitted here in the afternoon. They, too, were injured. They have been referred to a higher center.”

Giving Details about this incident,She also said,”It is being said that this is the same incident but we have not been able to confirm it. This too is being verified. The deceased has been identified as Thanda Paani.”

According to officials, the victim was found to be involved in around 20-21 cases of crime registered at the Mayur Vihar police station. The Delhi Police has also declared him ‘Bad Character (BC)’, a term commonly used for individuals with criminal records. Meanwhile, a case has been registered under Section 302 of the IPC in connection with the incident and investigation is underway.
