New Delhi: A man troubled by a matrimonial dispute in the capital tried to commit suicide by going livestream on the internet media platform Instagram, an official said. Delhi Police rushed to the spot and rescued the person.
Giving information about this incident, the police officer said that the person seriously injured himself with the blade, due to which he was immediately taken to the hospital
He further said that the Delhi Police received a call from an unknown person, the person said that his younger brother is attempting to commit suicide by posting live on Instagram, he needs immediate help.
After technical investigation, the police team reached the spot at Chhota Thakur Dwar, Shahdara, Delhi and immediately rescued the said person (28). The man injured himself by hitting the blade and was immediately taken to the hospital. Initial investigation revealed that the person is involved in a matrimonial dispute and has two children. Further legal proceedings are ongoing in this regard.
