Delhi: 56-year-old woman undergoes for surgery at AIIMS hospital after stray dog attack

A Dog attack incident happened in Delhi where a woman attacked by packs of stray dogs at her residential complex which leads her leg fractured and undergoes through severe surgery at AIIMS hospital in Delhi.

New Delhi: India has the highest number of attacks by stray dogs in the world. In Indian cities, stray dog attacks are considered a danger to children and old people. A Dog attack incident happened in Delhi where a woman attacked by packs of stray dogs at her residential complex which leads her leg fractured and undergoes through severe surgery at AIIMS hospital in Delhi.

Whole dog attack incident caught on security camera that shows a woman coming downstairs from her flat when a group of five to six dogs run towards her. One of them crashes into her, causing her to trip and fall with her leg twisted. The dogs then saunter away. According to preliminary reports, 56-year-old woman Anu Dogra, was taken to the AIIMS Trauma Center for treatment, where she will undergo a surgical procedure.

Such incidents involving stray dogs are now being reported more frequently, with such videos creating concern and many housing complexes discouraging residents from feeding them inside the premises.

Videos of several horrific attacks by pet dogs have also surfaced on social media, with concerned people calling for stricter guidelines to prevent such incidents.

Earlier Delhi government has issued a new law against pet parents after dog attack crime enlarges in the state.
