Delhi: 72-year-old man dies after fight over parking spot; police

New Delhi: An official said that an elderly man, who was seriously injured in a fight with his neighbors over a parking space in Subhash Nagar area of west Delhi, died during treatment. He was 72-year-old.

New Delhi: An official said that an elderly man, who was seriously injured in a fight with his neighbors over a parking space in Subhash Nagar area of west Delhi, died during treatment. He was 72-year-old.

The accused was identified as Rajkumar Madan. Official also said that the fighting incident occurred on November 5. After receiving information about this incident, a case was registered against the accused and his two sons in Rajouri Garden police station, according to the Delhi police. The accused are currently in judicial custody.

In his complaint to the police, the victim’s son Abhishek Pratap Singh said that he had reached Delhi with his wife and child from his in-laws, when the Madan family living in the neighborhood parked their car at the parking place of his car. Abhishek Pratap complained about this to Rajkumar Madan and asked him to remove the car but both the sons of Rajkumar also came behind him and started beating Abhishek.

The victim identified as Amar Singh. According to the information, when Abhishek’s father Amar Singh saw the fight happening, he came down to the house and tried to resolve the fight and defend his son.

In his complaint, Abhishek alleged that during this incident, Rajkumar’s two sons picked up his father and threw him on the road, due to which he suffered a head injury. He further stated in his complaint that he also fell during the attack following which he took his father to the hospital as he was bleeding from the head.
