Delhi: A Fire breaks out at ICU ward in Brahm Shakti hospital in Rohini area, one patient feared dead

New Delhi: On Saturday morning, a fire broke out at the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Brahm Shakti Hospital in the Rohini area of Delhi and one patient is feared dead, officials said.

Delhi Fire Services (DFS) Director Atul Garg said, “A total of nine fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames. All have been safely rescued except one patient who was on a ventilator support and is suspected to have died”.

According to fire brigade officials, the information about the fire in the third floor of Brahm Shakti Hospital, Poot Khurd was received at 5 am. The fire has been completely doused, the officials said.
