Delhi: A massive fire breaks out in the Jamia Nagar metro station parking, nearly dozen vehicles damaged

New Delhi: On Wednesday morning, A massive fire breaks out in the Jamia Nagar metro station parking in Delhi. A call was received at 5.02am about fire in the parking at Main Tikona Part in Jamia Nagar, Delhi Fire Services said.

A total of 11 fire tenders were rushed to the spot. According to fire officials, The fire has been brought under control and no casualties have been reported so far.

According to the Delhi fire department a total of 10 cars, one motorcycle, two scooty, 30 new e-rickshaws, and 50 old e-rickshaws had caught fire.

Earlier hour today, A fire had broken out in the Ministry of Home Affairs in the North block. “The fire has been brought under control. The fire stop message was given by the fire department at 1:05 am. No causality has been reported so far,” an official had said earlier today.

According to fire department officials the call had come in around 12:18 am and seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the blaze in the telephone exchange room in the North Block.
