Union Territory Environment Minister Gopal Rai has given information in this regard. In a tweet, Rai said- In order to save people from the danger of pollution in Delhi, like last year, this time also the production, storage, sale and use of all types of firecrackers are being completely banned, so that people’s safety. Life can be saved.
He said- This time there will also be a ban on online sale / delivery of firecrackers in Delhi. This restriction will remain in force till January 1, 2023. An action plan will be drawn up with Delhi Police, DPCC and Revenue Department to strictly implement the ban.
इस बार दिल्ली में पटाखों की ऑनलाइन बिक्री / डिलीवरी पर भी प्रतिबंध रहेगा। यह प्रतिबंध 1 जनवरी 2023 तक लागू रहेगा।
प्रतिबंध को कड़ाई से लागू करने को लेकर दिल्ली पुलिस, DPCC और राजस्व विभाग के साथ मिलकर कार्य योजना बनाई जाएगी।

Earlier on Tuesday, the Delhi government had a meeting on the Winter Action Plan. In this regard, Gopal Rai had said that a meeting was held with all the concerned departments regarding the Winter Action Plan. About 30 departments were given the task of preparing detailed plans on 15 focus points prepared by the government. He had said that by September 15, the Environment Department was instructed to prepare a detailed winter action plan after taking reports from all the departments.
The development and revenue department has been made the nodal agency for the problem of pollution caused by stubble burning. Apart from this, PWD, MCD, DCB, NDMC, DDA, CPWD, I&FC, DSIIDC, Delhi Jal Board, Delhi Metro and Revenue Department were appointed as nodal agencies for dust pollution.
Delhi Traffic Police, Transport Department, DIMTS, DTC, Delhi Metro and GAD were appointed as nodal agencies for vehicular pollution. On the other hand, MCD, NDMC, DCB, Development Department, I&FC, Delhi Fire Service, DDA and Revenue Department were appointed as nodal agencies for open burning of garbage.
