New Delhi: A shocking incident happened in the national capital. On Saturday, police said that a official of Punjab and Sindh Bank committed suicide by jumping from a metro rail at Rajiv Chowk metro station. He was 35-year-old. The official identified as Divyanshu Chopra.

New Delhi: A shocking incident happened in the national capital. On Saturday, police said that a official of Punjab and Sindh Bank committed suicide by jumping from a metro rail at Rajiv Chowk metro station. He was 35-year-old.

The official identified as Divyanshu Chopra.He worked as an officer in Punjab and Sind Bank and lived with his parents in Amritsar, according to the police.

After receiving information about this incident local police reached on the spot. Police said that the incident happened Friday evening and he died on the spot. No suicide note was found on him.

An officer said that a bag was found with the deceased in which his identity card was found. Name is Divyanshu Chopra and he was working as an officer in Punjab and Sindh Bank. According to the police, he used to work in the bank branch of Kalaghanupur. Chopra had flown to Delhi from Punjab’s Amritsar on Friday, he added.

According to the information received by police, the metro train stopped for 20 minutes due to the suicide of the bank officer by jumping on the track. The police are trying to unlock the mobile phone so that their family members can be contacted. Reasons for suicide have not been disclosed.
