New York: In response to Pakistan’s foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto’s remark at the UN headquarters that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a “butcher of Gujarat,” BJP members organised a large anti-Pakistan protest outside the nation’s embassy in Delhi. They held up placards with the phrases “Pakistan hay hay” and “Bilawal Bhutto maafi maango.”
To prevent the BJP workers from moving toward the Pakistani Embassy, the Delhi Police erected barricades. But the demonstrators managed to get past the first set of barriers and started moving in the direction of the embassy.
At the second line of barricades erected in the Chanakyapuri district, the police stopped them. There are also water cannons in this area. The police also apprehended a few BJP members.
“Osama bin Laden is gone, but the butcher of Gujarat is alive and is the Prime Minister of India,” I want to inform India. Until he became prime minister, he was barred from entering the country.
