New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has been issued a recovery notice of Rs 163.62 crore for allegedly getting its political advertisements published under the guise of government advertisements. Lieutenant Governor of Delhi V.K. Saxena (V.K. Saxena) directed the Chief Secretary to recover Rs 97 crore from AAP for political advertisements published under the guise of government advertisements, after which this development has been seen.
Sources said that the recovery notice issued by the Directorate of Information and Publicity (DIP) includes interest on the amount and it is mandatory for the ruling AAP in Delhi to pay the entire amount within 10 days. A source said, “If the AAP convenor fails to do so, all legal action, including attachment of party properties, will be taken in a time-bound manner as per the previous order of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi.”
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh has been sentenced to 3 months by the UP Sultanpur court. Along with this, the court has also imposed a fine of Rs 1500 on the AAP MP, Sanjay Singh has been sentenced to this sentence in the 21-year-old case. When AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh came out of the court premises with his supporters after the court’s order, he said that he will present his case in the upper court.
When he agitated for the public suffering from power cuts, in the case of 18 June 2001, he was sentenced to 3 months in jail and a fine of Rs. The fight for public interest will continue, whatever punishment is given is acceptable. An appeal will be made against this decision in the competent court. Judge Yogesh Yadav of Sultanpur’s MP MLA Court has sentenced the AAP MP. However, he has got bail under the provisions of punishment of less than 3 years.
