A Khalistani supporter has threatened to remove the Indian flag and put the Khalistani flag at Delhi's Pragati Maidan. In this, the Khalistani supporter said that he would take over the Pragati Maidan and pull down the flag of India. After the threatening audio surfaced, Delhi Police has registered a case and started investigation.

New Delhi: A Khalistani supporter has threatened to remove the Indian flag and put the Khalistani flag at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. In this, the Khalistani supporter said that he would take over the Pragati Maidan and pull down the flag of India. Along with this, objectionable words have also been used about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Amit Shah. In this case threatening audio has been sent to a passenger. After this, Delhi Police has registered a case and started investigation.

In fact, the big event of the G20 meeting is to be held in Pragati Maidan in September. Many meetings will be held in this Pragati Maidan, for which preparations are also going on in full swing. Meanwhile, a threatening audio recording was sent to a passenger. Immediately after this, he called the Delhi Police and informed about it. Khalistani supporters were talking about Amritpal Singh in the audio. He said that he would take over Pragati Maidan and pull down the Indian flag.

He was talking directly about PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. After this matter came to the fore, the police have registered a case under sections 153, 153A, and 505 of the IPC at the IGI Airport police station.

Sources say that Khalistani supporter Amritpal Singh was talked about in the audio. The Special Cell of Delhi Police has started investigating the matter. Amidst the absconding of Amritpal Pal Singh, the police has become alert about such threats.
