Delhi court grants bail to RJD chief Lalu, Rabri Devi and other accused in Land for job case

New Delhi: Delhi court grants bail to former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi, her daughter-RJD MP Misa Bharti and other accused. Court noted that CBI filed charge sheet without arrest. The court directed all the accused to furnish a personal bond of Rs 50,000 each and a surety of like amount.

New Delhi: On Wednesday, Delhi court grants bail to former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi, her daughter-RJD MP Misa Bharti and other accused. Court noted that CBI filed charge sheet without arrest. The court directed all the accused to furnish a personal bond of Rs 50,000 each and a surety of like amount.

Former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi and their daughter and RJD MP Misa Bharti reached Rouse Avenue Court in the land case in lieu of job. Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has ordered the appearance of 16 accused in the case. Lalu Prasad Yadav was brought to the court through a wheelchair. During this, his wife Rabri Devi was seen removing people. Recently Lalu Yadav has had a kidney transplant.

Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav-Rabri Devi and her daughter and RJD MP Misa Bharti reached Rouse Avenue Court in the land-for-job case. Let us inform that the land scam in lieu of job dates back to the time when Lalu Yadav used to be the railway minister. Lalu, former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi and 14 others were to appear in the court today in this scam. In such a situation, Lalu’s family left the house at 10 am. During 2004 to 2009, Lalu’s family got land as a gift or at a low rate. It is alleged that in return he was given a job in the Railways.

Earlier on March,6, CBI Patna reached Rabri Devi’s residence where she questioned the former CM. The very next day on March 7, the CBI team reached Misa Bharti’s residence in Delhi. Here CBI interrogated Lalu Yadav in the scam case. Three days after the interrogation, the ED team raided around 15 locations of Lalu Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav and their family and close associates. Meanwhile, the ED had claimed that it had detected a financial crime of 600 crores during the investigation.
