Delhi crime: 26-Year-old man arrested for murdering his brother in Mangolpuri

In Delhi's Mangolpuri police station area, a man killed his brother and threw the dead body in the park. After that, he himself reached the police station and told about the murder and got the dead body recovered. The police have arrested his father along with him.

New Delhi: A case of murder of a youth has come to light in Mangolpuri police station area of ​​outer Delhi. The young man was killed by his own brother by hitting him on the head with a hammer. Surprisingly, the accused himself reached the police station and told the police about the murder of his brother. Along with this, along with the policemen, the body of the dead youth was also recovered.

DCP Harendra K. According to Singh, on December 14, a person named Lalit reached Mangolpuri police station and disclosed the murder of his real brother Jaikishan alias Jaichand to the police. He told that he had thrown his brother’s body in a park, which can be recovered from there. On his information, the SHO from Mangolpuri police station reached the spot along with other policemen and recovered the body of the youth from there.

The accused further told that his brother Jaikishan was a drug addict and often used to quarrel with the family members for money. On December 12 also, he had a fight at home and during that time he had also beaten up his mother, after which her mother left the house.

After this, on December 13, when his father and brother Akash went to the shoe factory for their work, he killed Jaikishan by hitting him on the head with a hammer and hid his body under the bed. He told his family members about Jaikishan’s murder. After this, he along with his father tried to dispose of the dead body, but failed and returned home. Meanwhile, his mother also returned home in the evening. The mother asked him to go to the police station and confess his crime. After that he reached the police station and informed the police about the incident.

In this case, on the basis of the statement of the deceased’s brother Akash, the police have registered a case and arrested the accused Lalit and his father Omprakash. The police have also recovered the hammer and knife used in the murder at his instance. Further investigation is going on in this matter.
