According to Delhi Police, information was received at 9:30 am on Wednesday that an elderly person had been murdered in A1 block of Freedom Fighter Colony. When the police went to Kothi and looked, the dead body of 75-year-old Satish Kumar Bhardwaj was found. There, all the things in the house were scattered.

A person living in the neighborhood of senior citizen Bhardwaj had informed the police. He had told that the belongings of the senior citizen’s house were scattered. In the initial investigation, the police feel that the old man has been murdered for the robbery. Only after the investigation of the police, it will be revealed that how the old man was killed and what other miscreants took away from the house.

At the same time, the neighbors told that Satish Bhardwaj used to live alone in this house. His wife had died 15 years ago. She was a teacher. He has two sons, one is posted as an officer in the army and the other son lives in the US. Another son is in Madhya Pradesh while there is a daughter who lives in Vaishali, Ghaziabad after marriage. Satish Bhardwaj retired from the post of Assistant Engineer of MCD. At the same time, top officials of Delhi Police have reached the spot, investigation is being done inside the house and the forensic team is also engaged in the investigation.
