Railways has released the tentative schedule of Dehradun-Delhi Vande Bharat train. The train will formally start from 25th May. It will run at seven in the morning six days a week except Wednesday. Joint Director (Coaching) Railway Board Vivek Kumar Sinha told that the train will have only five stoppages between Dehradun and Delhi. The maximum speed of the train will be 110 kilometers per hour. At the same time, the average speed has been fixed at 63.41.

On May 25, PM Modi will flag off this semi high speed train in Dehradun. Uttarakhand will get the first Vande Bharat train. With the running of Vande Bharat Express on the Delhi-Dehradun route, the travel time will further reduce.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will be present at the inauguration ceremony of Vande Bharat Express train. At present, there is a facility of 6 trains to go from Dehradun to Delhi and Vande Bharat train will be the 7th train. This train has eight coaches with a total capacity of 570 passengers. All Vande Bharat trains are fully air-conditioned. They have automatic sliding doors. Chair can be rotated up to 180 degrees. The train has GPS based information system, CCTV cameras, vacuum toilets. There is also a provision for power backup.
