Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia claims his PA arrested by ED in liquor policy case

New Delhi: Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia tweeted and informed that his PA has been arrested by the ED. Sisodia tweeted a while back and informed about the arrest of PA. He wrote that he got my house raided by false FIR, searched bank lockers, investigated in my village but nothing was found against me. Today they did ED raid at my PA's house, if nothing was found there too, now they have arrested him and taken him away.

New Delhi: On Saturday, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia tweeted and informed that his PA has been arrested by the ED. Sisodia tweeted a while back and informed about the arrest of PA. He wrote that he got my house raided by false FIR, searched bank lockers, investigated in my village but nothing was found against me. Today they did ED raid at my PA’s house, if nothing was found there too, now they have arrested him and taken him away.

In the same tweet, Sisodia took a sharp jibe at the BJP in the last line. He wrote that BJP people! So much fear of losing the election… Earlier, the house of Manish Sisodia was raided regarding the excise policy of Delhi. Sisodia was also called by the central agency for questioning. After raids and interrogation, AAP had claimed that nothing was found from Sisodia’s house. However, the investigation of the central agency is still on.

BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia countered the claim of Manish Sisodia, saying he (Sisodia) is the accused number one and why probe agencies shouldn’t investigate such a case.

“The accusations by BJP were true as Kejriwal had to take back the excise policy, it proved our allegations,” Bhatia added.

Meanwhile, the ED is carrying out searches in the Delhi excise policy case in the national capital. The people close to Manish Sisodia are also being searched.No arrest has been made as of now.

In August, The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided the residence of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in connection with the excise policy row.

Even before this, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia gave his response on the matter of writing a letter to the LG of Delhi Vinay Saxena on behalf of Sukesh Chandrashekhar, a thug lodged in Tihar Jail.

He tweeted, “Fearing a horrific defeat in MCD and Gujarat, BJP has dealt with a thug lodged in Tihar. He will make absurd allegations against Arvind Kejriwal everyday and in return BJP will help him in his case. I have heard JP Nadda will get him included in BJP next week. Along with this, Sukesh has alleged that the DG of the jail and Minister Satyendar Jain are continuously threatening him because of the first letter being public.
