New Delhi : Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s PA Devendra Sharma has made several important revelations in the CBI’s interrogation. Devendra Sharma told the CBI that he had bought the mobile phones, but Manish Sisodia had asked him to do so. These mobile phones were used to execute the excise scam. PA Devendra Sharma was questioned by the CBI on Tuesday. At the same time, after this revelation, ED has also jumped into the investigation of the case on Tuesday itself. The CBI has informed the ED about the facts found so far.

Significantly, there were allegations of corruption in the formulation and implementation of Delhi’s new excise policy, which was made and implemented in the year 2021-22. After this, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi canceled this policy. At the same time, orders were given for a CBI inquiry into the matter. In this sequence, the CBI summoned the then Excise Minister of Delhi and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s PA Devendra Sharma and questioned him on Tuesday. It is believed that in this interrogation of PA Devendra Sharma, CBI has got many more new facts. With these facts, Manish Sisodia’s difficulties have increased considerably due to the joint investigation of CBI and ED.

Devendra Sharma had bought mobile phone

According to CBI sources, Devendra Sharma alias Rinku has confessed before the CBI that he had bought mobile phones at the behest of Manish Sisodia. Devendra Sharma himself bore the entire expenditure involved in this. But it was used by Manish Sisodia. According to CBI officials, Rinku has confirmed many more information, about which CBI was aware, but there were not enough facts and witnesses in relation to them. But after the interrogation of Rinku, the CBI has also included these facts in the charge sheet.

Sisodia is in judicial custody till March 20

Let us inform that former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on 26 February. After a long interrogation of five days, he was produced in the special CBI court, from where he has been sent to judicial custody till March 20. According to CBI sources, in this inquiry, a case of bribery and use of unfair means has come to the fore from Delhi to South lobby. In such a situation, the CBI has also given all the facts that have come to the fore to the ED.
