New Delhi: A 30-year-old IIT research student was killed, another injured after a car hit them near the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) in New Delhi last night, the police said. According to the information received, the accident happened late last night.
Both Ashraf Nawaz Khan and Ankur Shukla were pursuing PhD at IIT.
They were on their way back to the campus when a speeding car hit them while they were crossing the road.
A car was found abandoned at a distance from accident site and the driver has been identified, said police.
