Dwarka News: An inebriated man tried to hit an on-duty head constable with a car in Delhi's Dwarka. In this case, the police has arrested the accused driver.

New Delhi: An inebriated man tried to hit the on-duty Delhi Police head constable with a car in Delhi’s Dwarka area. This incident happened on Wednesday, the day of Holi. At the same time, the police arrested that person. Delhi Police Head Constable has suffered minor injuries in this incident.

A 29-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly trying to hit an on-duty Delhi Police head constable with a car in an inebriated state on Holi (March 8) in Dwarka area, a police official said on Friday. When two policemen were patrolling in Sector 10 at around 8.30 pm on Wednesday, they saw some people sitting inside a car playing loud music. After this, the people in the car were asked to reduce the volume of the music.

Man was in inebriated situation
The senior police officer said, after that they started pushing the car. That car started coming towards Head Constable Jagdish. However, Jagdish managed to escape from this car. After this both the head constables chased the vehicle and caught the driver. The car driver has been identified as Nitin Godara, a resident of Dhulsiras village in Dwarka.

The police officer said, the driver was found in an inebriated condition. After this his medical examination was done. Along with registering a case, the accused driver was arrested in this case. Also, the police officer told that head constable Jagdish is fine. He has suffered minor injuries, but the head constable did not require hospitalization.
